Markie Niemeyer, MD, FACOG
Dr. Markie Niemeyer is a board-certified OB/GYN at Gemini OBGYN in Pembroke Pines, Florida providing compassionate women’s health care at every stage of life. A South Florida native, she is known for her thoughtful, patient-first approach, taking the time to listen and tailor care to each individual’s needs and goals.

Dr. Niemeyer is experienced in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including laparoscopic hysterectomy and other advanced procedures. She treats a wide range of conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain, and abnormal uterine bleeding, with a focus on improving outcomes while minimizing recovery time.

Dr. Niemeyer earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Health System. During her training, she served as Administrative Chief Resident and was recognized with awards for clinical excellence and mentorship.
Beyond the Office
Dr. Niemeyer enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, especially at the South Florida beaches. She also enjoys indoor cycling, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
